Acting Experience

Hope Hamilton

Hope made her professional stage debut as Sir Percival in Bay Street Theater’s production of Camelot, directed by Scott Schwartz (August, 2021). In August of 2022, she appeared in The Great American Mousical ("Pippin") at Bay Street, directed by Julie Andrews, with Musical Direction by Joseph Thalken. 


While a student at Sarah Lawrence College, Class of '26, Hope appeared in the stage productions of Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Spring Awakening (Ensemble), Are There Penguins in Space? (Lola),  Urinetown: The Musical (Ensemble), The Skriker (Skriker) and Romeo & Juliet (Juliet.) She also appeared in Sarah Lawrence's edition of the Amazon Prime TV Series The College Tour (https://www.thecollegetour.com/)  and in the indie film Get Me to a Nunnery , written and directed by Sophia Baldassari, produced by Talia Kedem.


A longtime member of South Fork Performing Arts, Hope appeared in their productions of Peter and the Starcatcher ("Molly Aster") and Into the Woods (“The Baker’s Wife”) at LTV Studios , and Freaky Friday (“Katherine”) and Little Women (“Marmee”) at the Southampton Cultural Center. She also completed SFPA internships in directing, musical direction and marketing/social media, as well as serving as a production assistant for The Lion King andFrozen Jr. 


Born and raised on the East End of Long Island, NY, Hope has appeared in a number of other regional productions, including Hitler’s Tasters at the John Drew Theater of Guild Hall in East Hampton, Eco the Musical at Southampton Arts Center, and Please, Listen in the Young Artists and Writers Project Playwriting Festival at Stony Brook Southampton’s Avram Theatre. 


While a student at the Ross School, Hope performed in Annie (Grace Farrell), Fame! (Melody Van Doren), Crunch Time (multiple), Over the River and Through the Woods (Baker’s Wife), Alice In Wonderland (Queen of Hearts) and Julius Caesar (Brutus), among other productions. She also performed in numerous productions with Hampton Ballet Theater at the John Drew Theater of Guild Hall, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Three Sisters and the Magic Doll Shop and Peter and the Wolf. 


In addition to acting, singing, and writing, Hope’s paintings have been exhibited at Guild Hall’s Student Arts Festival.


Hope is an avid reader and enjoys playing guitar, bass, viola, ukelele, and piano.
